Hey everyone!
A while back I ditched the blog portion of my website for a couple reasons. First, writing is not my strong point, so I would sit in front of the computer for ages just trying to come up with something even semi interesting to write. Second, in the busy season, it gets pretty challenging trying to blog every single session that I've shot. I'm blessed to be so busy, but since blogging was not my strong point, it became a real struggle to get done, and it would stress me out more than it did me any good! However, I've recently decided to bring back the blog, but with a few changes! I won't be blogging every single session, it's just too much. So please don't be offended if your session doesn't get blogged, I promise it's not personal ;) I'm also going to make it primarily a photo blog, with minimal writing. That way, you get to see all the pretty photos, but don't have to read my blabber! Win win? I think so! :)
And now, so there's a more of a point to this blog post about blogging, I'm going to share with you a little bit about yours truly!
1 - I married a handsome dairy farmer last summer, and it's been the best year of my life <3
2 - I have a MAJOR sweet tooth, it's a little ridiculous. I try to compensate by putting a lot of salads and veggies in my dinner plan, but let's be real, if I had to choose between never eating ice cream and being skinny, it wouldn't even be a competition...
3 - My favourite Starbucks drink is currently the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino (see #2, I really wasn't kidding). I can never say the name right when I order it, but the barista can usually tell what I'm talking about. Also, holla to all the couples scheduling wedding consultations so I actually have a legit reason to go to Starbucks! ;)
4 - I chopped off and donated 11" of hair off last fall and I can't wait for it to grow back as long as it is in the photo to the left, I really miss having it long!
5 - This is more of an announcement than a fact about myself, but my photographer friend, Leanne and I (she took this lovely photo of me), are tossing around the idea of hosting a beginners photography workshop late this fall! It would be geared towards people wanting to learn how to make some beautiful images with their fancy DSLRs, and how to shoot in manual mode! If this is something that might interest you, shoot me a Facebook message or an email and we'll put you on the first dibs email list! <3
If you made it this far, thanks so much for reading! Stay tuned for some more content this weekend! <3
